Funding programmes
Attention:
Dear doctoral candidates, please apply for admission to the doctoral programme as early as possible in order to be eligible for our funding.
Below you will find information about the various opportunities available to finance your doctorate, your postdoc stage and your habilitation.
Generally, you will need basic funding to meet your daily living needs. Depending on the stage of your project and its design, you will apply for funding to pay for travel and/or publications. There may be further, specific funding programmes available for your target group.
Please note that the webpage lists both internal university funding programmes and funding lines from external funders (in a summary overview). You will find the individual instruments briefly explained on the webpage Overview of funding programmes.
