On June 18, 2024 from 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Netzwerk INDIGO, BayWISS Joint Academic Partnership Digitalisation and the PhD programme of Bavarian Research Institute for Digtital Transformation (bidt) organise the on-site workshop „Pitch your Research“.

The event invites doctoral researchers from all academic backgrounds who work in the field of digitalisation. Participants have the opportunity to present their dissertation topics in a scientific short presentation (10 minutes maximum). Due to the interdisciplinary approach, these presentations should be comprehensible for those doctoral researchers with different academic backgrounds. After each presentation, the presenters will receive feedback from the audience. Therefore, this workshop is an ideal opportunity to receive feedback from peers on your own dissertation, to learn from others and to establish a network of junior researchers. Doctoral researchers at the start of their dissertations are also welcome and encouraged to participate. The event is held in German, presentations in English are also welcome. Besides the presentations, there will also be opportunities for networking and exchanging experiences with others.

Participation is free of charge, registration due to organizational matters required. The presentation coaching offer is designed exclusively for the presenters of the “Pitch your Research” format and can therefore only be used by people who are represented with a short presentation on June 18, 2024. The submission deadline for presentations was May 15, 2024. Registration as a listener is still possible until June 11, 2024
