Dr Oleksandr Fylypchuk is a PICAIS fellow at the Chair of Modern and Contemporary History of Eastern Europe (Prof Dr Wünsch) at the University of Passau. His lecture "Making of Christian Myths in the Periphery of Christendom: Bruno of Querfurt’s mission" explores the relationship between Ottonian imperial policy and the missionary efforts of monks, both official and unofficial, in shaping the Christian landscape across Europe.
