Would you like to do a doctorate at the University of Passau once you've completed your degree but have no idea how to fund it? To provide you with the best possible support and financial security as you transition from your degree studies to your doctorate, the University of Passau has introduced a transitional or thesis starter grant.
The purpose of the grant is to give you an opportunity to plan the first steps of your doctorate, to apply for a doctoral scholarship or to acquire funding for your third-party funded position. Applications are now open and will close on 15 October 2024. The earliest start date is 1 February 2025. Grants are awarded for a period of six months.
